Chicken and Rice Casserole

1 whole cut up chicken
Mix the following in a pan over med/low heat.
1 large can (24 oz) cream of mushroom soup, add one can of water.
1/2 of the same can of uncooked long grain white rice
1 envelope (or 3 T) dry onion soup


Pour the mix into a 9 x 13 pan, place chicken on top.
Cover with foil.
350° - 1 to 1 1/2 hours
