3 Tbsp beef or chicken bouillon
¾ c flour
½ tsp pepper
To make: in pan
2 Tbsp butter (or grease/fat), melt
2 Tbsp mix, stir to make a lumpy roux
1 c water, whisk until smooth, boil for 2 minutes, then low for another 3 minutes
you can add more flavor with garlic powder, onion powder, poultry seasoning...
