Dry mix:
1 c rice (white or basmati)
½ c pasta (vermicelli, fideo, or cut spaghetti)
2 Tbsp dried parsley
3 Tbsp bouillon (chicken or beef/vegan- leave out, see 'cook')
1 tsp onion powder
1/8 tsp thyme
¼ tsp garlic powder
Cook:
in 3 cup saucepan
2 Tbsp Butter (vegan use ghee or olive oil)melt, then add
1 cup dry mix, brown in pan, then add
2 ¼ c water (vegan use vegetable broth for added flavor)
Cover, turn to low until liquid is absorbed, about 20-25 minutes.
